Kappa Alpha Theta alumnae may write a letter of reference for young ladies attending any university or college with a Kappa Alpha Theta chapter.  Letters for college-bound women from the Mid-Cities area (including Argyle, Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Roanoke, Southlake, Trophy Club, Westlake) should be sent to:

Joy Brandon
Area Reference Coordinator
midcitiesthetaARC@gmail.com

Letter of reference forms can be found on the Kappa Alpha Theta website:  www.kappaalphatheta.org  and can be submitted electronically to our Area Reference Coordinator.
Letters of reference should include the following attachments:

  • resume
  • high school transcript
  • two photos (ideally head shot and full body)
Deadlines for letters of reference will vary by university.  Alumnae should check the university and college websites for specific recruitment deadlines.

The Mid-Cities Kappa Alpha Theta Alumnae Chapter works closely with the Mid-Cities Panhellenic Association during recruitment. The association can provide useful information about recruitment and may be able to assist with obtaining letters of reference.   It is recommended that area students register their intent to go through recruitment with Mid-Cities Panhellenic.

We also encourage candidates to register early for recruitment at their colleges and universities.  Candidates will need to check with their university panhellenic organization to see when registration begins.
