Mid-Cities Alumnae Chapter History

The Mid-Cities Alumnae Chapter was founded in 1987. Originally we were part of Arlington-Mid-Cities Kappa Alpha Theta Alumnae Chapter. As the numbers of Theta alumnae living in the Hurst-Euless-Bedford area grew, several of them chose to form a new chapter. Linda Jennings served as the first president.

Since that time, the Mid-Cities Theta Chapter has grown to serve Thetas from Argyle, Bedford, Colleyville, Euless, Grapevine, Hurst, Keller, North Richland Hills, Roanoke, Southlake, Trophy Club, Westlake and other surrounding communities.

The chapter meets regularly for a variety of social events, hosts the successful Ruby Slipper Soiree to benefit C.A.S.A. of Tarrant County, celebrates Founders Day and gathers alumnae, collegian members and legacies for an annual holiday party.
